After restructuring his music concept, Dan has paired up with songwriter Cinnamon Cook and his vocal coach Alex Wehrum to come up with "Going Down," which has been recorded with Ralf Bruetting at Studio Soundlab after many long sessions of producing and mixing. "Cinnamon," Dan stated, "is a really talented and outstanding songwriter. She could contribute a lot to the overall project, not only in terms of contributing lyrics." Ralf and Dan had to come up with a novel effect chain to create the generic ambient sound with 3D imaging, which "has been the biggest challenge, because many mixing engineers couldn't give us the sound we were looking for."

Dan has also created a countdown, which incorporated crucial persons of his crew and career as well as befriended musicians and artists. The countdown could be followed on Facebook and Twitter, ultimately leading to the release which is set for 28 October 2016. Photographer Marco Deuchert is responsible for the artwork, because for the first time Dan appears on a CD cover in person, the expertise of an expert had been required.
