FMP Award

The wait was over in early March. After a couple of performances and the following nomination Dan has been rewarded for his hard work and received the FMP Award among many great other artists. In an unforgettable ceremonial event the committee presented the awards in many categories; and in the midst of the many celebrations Dan performed an outstanding duet of Old Crow Medicine Show's hit "Wagon Wheel" with Louisiana's lead singer Elke Brooks, who was the woman of the night with three awards.

Dan expressed later on his gratitude and stated: "During the course of the event I was too overwhelmed to say a lot. Now I can say that I'm grateful the committee rewarded all the hard work along the way with this amazing prize, and equally as grateful I am that Mrs. Brooks, who has not only brought me in and encouraged me to present my music, agreed on the duet, which was definitely a highlight in my music career."

All winners were asked to come back onto the stage once the award show was over, which gave all of them an opportunity to chat and talk about their music projects and endeavors. Therein Dan and Louisiana have agreed on working together in the future and only a few weeks after the event the singer and producer has been spotted with Elke Brooks in the studio to not dwell in the past and celebrate former glory, but getting back to work and taking care of business.
